We started project Zero Waste in the autumn 2018 because we wanted create clothing that leave less fabric on the cutting room floor.
Our belief is that as little as possible should be wasted – and when we have the power to make decisions of the production ourselves we want to make a difference.
Given that normally about 15-20 % of the fabric used to produce clothing ends up as waste, this project is no easy task. But with a bit of creativity and innovation we allow our creators to reduce their textile waste when cutting and printing.
For us, it is only natural that what cannot be prevented from being left over should be recycled into small items – like hairbands and scarves.
We also use left over fabric to wrap beautifully around gifts and packages in our store – with the final goal to waste zero.
This very day my partner in crime turns 40 years old! Big congrats on your day, her husband has planned the whole weekend for her!
I cannot believe Kristin been a part in my life since 6 years back already. Time flies.
We’ve done A LOT together so far – Travelled the world, started up a buisness taken about 1 million photos of each other, always been driven by lust – otherwise we get bored.Luckily we are the same when it comes to that otherwise I think it would of been hard. We’ve started a project that support women in need, social dinners, lectures and lots more. Wonder what’s next?
Thanks for all the special time together and enjoy your weekend!
much love, mir
