Lisa Burenius. A real queen. She’s an artist, a creator and a doer.
Last week we were invited to her home for a delicious breakfast.
Health from start till finish.
It’s almost like Lisa cook like she create her art. So colourful and beautiful.
I known Lisa for 5 years now I think. She is very inspiring, from top till toe!
Her latest project. Beyonce. Cool right? S O L D .
Even her messy floor is arty.
I copied Lisa and bought myself the same sofas – I fell in love straight away when I seeing them few months ago right here.
So I don’t forget to mention she has her own collection of clothing too,
check them out.
We often work together, one of the event is our workshop at FGL Store.
Lisa teaches how to create in a way that has ‘no rules’ with few colours and just to let go and create,
-don’t overthink, don’t ‘over do’, or ‘over do it’ .
Great and intimate time together and the energy in the room when people are creative is truly magical. So much joy, and we grown ups don’t often work with anything that has ‘no rules’ . It’s very liberating.
Hope you join us next time. Could be the perfect christmas gift to yourself don’t you think?
And back again to our morning last week..
Thanks for a colourful breakfast and being a top friend. One of the things Lisa made us was
Golden porridge. So yum!
Here is a recipe I sometimes do, I think Lisa’s porridge had some quinoa in it as well.
You can use what you want litterally..
120ml (1/2 cup) almond milk
120ml (1/2 cup) water
½ tsp ground turmeric
1/8 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
3 grinds black pepper
3 pitted natural dates OR honey to taste
45g (½ cup) porridge oats
1 tbsp shelled hemp seeds or chia seeds
1. If you are using the dates, blend them with the milk and water until smooth.
2. Simmer the milk and water very gently with the spices for five minutes. A gentle sustained heat.
3. Add the oats and hemp seeds and stir occasionally until thickened to your liking.
4. Sweeten to taste if necessary, and serve topped with toasted nuts, bee pollen.
Toasted pecan nuts or other nuts and seeds that you fancy
1 tsp bee pollen.
