Welcome to Lyckan Christmas edition. This year I was ready by the 1st of December, just in case baby Fletcher would decide to show up. Nothing yet though, but we’re ready. Gonna share some photos from my day – morning till night.
Just bought a few more decorations for our tree. It’s busier now, you’ll notice on the picture further down.
Love my little ‘Lucia kör’ made by Marie, my dear friend.
& she has made this ceramic bowl too – eggshell it’s called. Made to order if you would wanting this in your own home. Check her shop out right here.
Porridge is my everyday breakfast, sometimes lunch, sometimes snack, sometimes all the time!
Bump is now 97.1% baked. Time flies and soon he’s here! Our little mini.
Visited the hospital yesterday and we can’t be more ready now I think.
Work wise I’m not on the schedule in December at FGL Store.
Unless two meetings this week, otherwise I’m working from home. Thank god for technology. My job is basically 95% on a computer.
Kristin and Frida will be at FGL Store till we close for the season.
22nd of December is our last day to keep open.
Since start of the summer I’ve done many shifts so it was a good timing having some time off since my due date is 12th of December.
Kristin & I share FGL 50/50 . Sometimes I can cover more when she’s having a busy period or it’s the reverse. But in the end it’s always simular.
We are so lucky that we can help each other out in that way, makes work so much easier and gives us both much more freedom!
Marie’s cups – Remember when we had them in our shop? They were so popular.
I love Marlenes coffee cause some of the profit support Läkarmissionen. Not only is it great coffee you also support people in need.
Our dear friends Jennie, Lisa & Frida Eklund will be in the store next door as a sneak peak on their coming studio. OPENING IN JANUARY 2019. CLART STUDIO.
FGL will get new neigbours. So exciting.
If you havn’t visited FGL already, this weekend will be a good one to come by.
We had a meeting yesterday planing spring events, gosh I’m excited.
Lots of workshops coming along nicely.
”Utvecklingsdag”, Breakfast lectures & much more.
To inspire and get inspired by and with other people is my favourite right now.
In two days another exciting meeting is booked, which I think could be a fun project the next couple of months. Fingers crossed for that collaboration!
Robe + pant set.
Perfect combo to wear all day. Printed by hand, such fine art work.
Each piece is truly unique, due to it’s all done by hand.
There’s also a Pyjama set available, not many pieces left though I guess they been on many wish lists till christmas.
I get a lot of questions about what I’m wearing as pregnant. To be honest I basically have my everyday clothes.
This peony set is I’m wearing in the picture above I had to go M/L, being 9 month pregant it would of been hard to fit a size small by now.
Wish you a good week, who knows next update might be about a newborn baby.
”baby is preparing it’s way down. getting ready for delivery”
Yes, that’s what I got in my email this morning. The update for enter every new week.
We’re now in week 34.
I can agree to baby is preparing him self, I feel more pain in my lower parts.
I get sore when laying to long on one side. So sleeping isn’t the comfiest. But it’s ok.
Our pillows are my best friends and sorry Jake for giving them more love than you right now.
Putting socks on – very tricky right now. When doing yoga my belly touches my thighs too, funny feeling. Getting up if been on my knees isn’t the easiest either.
We went to our first parental group last Monday. It’s interesting to listen and take in some stuff, but I’m not sure if we will attend to the next two meetings. Think it’s better if we read up on the stuff at home, since the class was only in Swedish.
The book ‘föda utan rädsla’ seems pretty good to, read 1/3 of it so far.
For me the breath work is the most important to practise. With the right mindset and a lot of breathing I think your body will respond to that. Peace calm and comfort
– You can try while reading this, how deep breathing totally changes your whole body .
It will be painful as hell – no matter what. The only thing I could do is the practise and focus to get a stronger mindset. I can do this and I’m excited. See you soon baby.
Choosing a pram, and things to buy stress me out more to be honest.
Autumn is certainly here. I’m so grateful. Love all the colours and how it smell outside. Crispy mornings are the best ones.
This picture is from a very sunny morning, just before my 20 min yoga. Found a really good 20 min class on youtube. For morning and night.
One night I treated myself to a long bath. Jake both cooked and made me this warm bath after a really long day at FGL Store. My back were so sore, I could barely move. So this peppermint bath – truly made my day! Thanks hun!
And then I fell in love with this washing line. How cute.
I’m usually a light sleeper but now during my pregnancy, I’m like hawk – I hear everything. Some nights Jake snore a bit toooooo much. I go crazy!
& there was week 30.
Can’t tell if I’m wearing pants ,can you? Belly is big now.
When I do my yoga, it’s a funny feeling when my belly touches my legs, hello there bump!
An old favourite of mine: Chia pudding with heaps of cardamom:
2 cups of Almond milk or coconut milk
6 tablespoons of Chia seeds
1 table spoon of oats
+ Lots of grinded cardamom, it’s best if you do it yourself so you get bits and pieces, don’t grind to much. Soak for 10min in the fridge.
I use frozen berries and some natural yoghurt with my chia pudding.
Top it with banana granola, nuts seeds -whatever you want. Such a great meal. Easy to prep and have ready in the fridge to for a few days.
Such a pleasure to go to the hair dresser . This is before.
